Together with several partners, Transitio has reached an important milestone in a joint project to modernize the HVAC systems in Regina vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
HVAC \u2013 Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning \u2013 is the system that ensures the right temperature and good air quality on board. A central part of this system is the control boards, the \u201cbrain\u201d that enables the systems to function as intended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the Regina fleet, the existing control boards have been obsolete for some time, and without a functioning HVAC system, the regional trains cannot operate in passenger service. This affects both operational reliability and passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project has now taken a major step forward: the testing phase for the newly developed control boards has been officially approved. This represents a significant improvement that strengthens the stability and functionality of the HVAC systems and helps ensure that the trains can continue operating reliably throughout their remaining service life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
